Employment Greensboro’s

Greensboro’s economy continues to be adversely affected by the steep Largest Employers

The greatest number of jobs are located within the census tract that includes the downtown area. The next largest cluster
of jobs is within the two tracts along the northern border of Interstate 40, south and west of the airport, and represent the
location of transportation, trade, and utilities industries.
