Guilford County Schools has maintained a lower dropout rate for high school students compared to most
other comparable school districts in North Carolina. All districts have shown dramatic decreases in high school
dropout rates per 1,000 students since 2000. Dropout rates by race and ethnicity vary greatly and are
examined in the Conditions and Trends report.
