The number of lane miles added each year, through widening of existing roads or the construction of new
roads, shows the City preparing for and reacting to increasing traffic volumes. The numbers below reflect the
number of lane miles added to the street network through funding from City bonds and state and federal
sources. Streets added through private development, like new subdivisions are not included.
