Green Score

Part 2: Element Score

1. Select a Landscape Element from the dropdown menu.
2. Enter additional information as required for the selected Landscape Element, which will generally be:
   1. Area in square feet, or
   2. Number of plants.
3. Check the box(es) for any bonus(es) that apply to the selected Landscape Element.
   1. Note: If a bonus applies to only a portion of the selected Landscape Element, break the element down into two or more parts and save each part with the applicable bonuses. Example: there are 2 large trees, but only 1 is a native species. This would become two elements: 1 large tree with the native species bonus, and 1 large tree with no bonuses.
4. Click "Calculate" to display the Green Score for the selected Landscape Element, as well as any applicable notes.
5. Click the "Save" icon next to the results and repeat steps 1-4 above.
6. A running total is displayed for all saved Landscape Elements in the bottom row. This total will appear in red font while the total is less than the Zoning District’s Minimum Green Score and change to green once the Minimum Green Score is met.
