RZC 21.44 Definitions

F Definitions

Fill/Fill Material. Earth or other solid material that is brought onto a property located within the City of Redmond for use in regrading the ground surface; stabilizing on-site soils for support of structures, pavement, and other property features; altering watercourses or wetlands; or other purposes where the material becomes a part of the property. Fill material does not include such things as topsoil, beauty bark, compost, sand, gravel, or crushed rock used as a surface treatment.

The NC District should also reference C-1A - Fremaux Ave./Short Cut Hwy. District. C-1 = Properties fronting on Fremaux from Front Street (Hwy 11) eastward to W-14 Canal C-1A - Properties fronting on Fremaux/Short Cut from the W-14 Canal to Nellie Drive.

This is now a separate district rather than an overlay district, per an earlier comment.

Table 2.201 C-1A - Fremaux Avenue/Short Cut Highway is not an special overlay. It is a zoning district approved by the Council that applies to all properties fronting on Fremaux Avenue at the W-14 Canal, continuing eastward along Short Cut Highway to Nellie Drive. This area does cover a lot of Parish property that if annexed will hold C-1A zoning.

The Fremaux Avenue (FA) district is now shown among the Professional and Commercial districts. It is no longer an overlay district.
